J'ai enfilé mes sabots et je suis sortie dans le jardin,
en arrachant quelques mauvaises herbes ici et là,
j'ai découvert les premières pousses drues des alliums géants que j'avais plantés en novembre.
There was this very heavy rain,
and then fifteen minutes brought great sun.
I put on my shoes and went out in the garden,
by tearing few weeds here and there,
I found the first shoots of wiry giant alliums I planted in november.
