jolie surprise

This morning, I didn't know that I will cut these flowers rodhodendron,
I didn't know I will put down this little nest of cities on my pebbles from Audierne,

I didnt know that I will bear the scool's turtle in a basket to keep her the weekend at home,
but I knew already that I am happy in life.

That turtle, this weekend, will be happy, happy, happy. When I was little, my sister got to bring home all the classroom pets for the Christmas holiday - 3 tiny turtles, a gerbil, and a snake. We panicked when we came home from the market one day to find the snake was missing. We looked high and low for it to no avail. It was not until late that evening, when I got into my cozy little bed, that my feet sensed something odd under the covers - yup ... the snake! Carolina
