Mother's day in France :
I asked my kids how they call me every days,
they looked at me thinking "are you crazy ?"
but finally they answered with all their heart and sincerity.
My older son uses just one word : maman (he is not very talkative and more reserved)
My youger son uses two words : maman (daily) and mamounette (when we cuddle each other)
My daughter uses five words, it depends on her mood : maman (of course, she said), mamounette (when I love you more than usely), mum (when I am in a good mood), mère (to laugh at you after you ask me to talk with an elevated language) and Hélène (when we argued with each other).
It was funny to talk about that (happy mother's day).
